We all know what a Chamber of Commerce is, but what is a Chamber of Creativity? Well, we don't know yet, but a group of folks in McHenry County Illinois has decided to figure it out!
This blog was created to help those daring souls share thoughts, inspirations, concerns and otherwise think through - together - this idea of a Chamber of Creativity!

I second Lisa's welcome and send a special thanks out to Bob and Ann for facilitating our discussion.
The goal, as I see it, is not so much to talk what it can be, but to make it what it will be.
Can't wait for everyone to share their visions after having a couple of days to ruminate.

keep those comments coming. One thought to keep in mind, let's not equate creativity with art/artistic expression. Rather, let's think in terms of using creativity to address the economic, cultural, educational, environmental, social and civic needs of the county.
I look forward to learning more about the Chamber of Creativity and being involved in helping to lay the groundwork for this project. I often blog about the topic of creativity myself, and it will be interesting to see how multiple creative minds can work together to promote creativity within our community.
